Our mini sessions only happen once a year and we would love to have you as one of our clients for these limited session spots!
This year we will have two location options (find out more info in the FAQs below).
Past clients receive booking priority at 9AM on August 29, 2023, followed by our email list on August 30, 2023.
General access begins August 31, 2023.

Option One: The Loft Studio
Join Andrea for a studio session! Located in the historic Phoenix Saloon building in the heart of downtown New Braunfels, our studio is perfect for modern + minimalist portraits of you and your people. With an abundance of negative space and beautiful light, a studio session is the perfect way to capture your portraits in a bright and fun, yet timeless way.
A $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit holds your date and time. Your remaining balance is due one week before your session. In the event of a cancellation, your deposit can be credited towards any full portrait session with Loft Creative. You will have 6 months to use your credit.
*Please note that our studio is a 3rd floor walk up, this building does not have an elevator.
Option Two: Cypress Bend Park
Meet Abbey at Cypress Bend for a green space session! We come back to this location year after year, because it really is a perfect spot. Cypress Bend is a beautiful river park with towering Cypress trees, wide open spaces and the Guadalupe River! If you love a more organic option for your session it’s the perfect fit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How many files will I receive with my session?
A. All sessions include color-corrected, print-ready photographs available in your online gallery. On average, clients receive between 25 & 30 images in their online gallery!
Q. Are mini sessions only for families?
A. Absolutely not! Mini sessions can be booked for maternity sessions, seniors, couples or just for kids!
Q. Can I bring more than one outfit for my session?
A. Due to the nature of mini sessions only one outfit is permitted for each session time.
Q. How are my files edited?
A. All delivered galleries include delivery of edited/color-corrected images with small blemish removal where applicable. Additional enhancements/retouching: Ex/removing braces, whitening teeth, slimming body parts, removing tan lines, swapping heads on subjects, etc are an additional fee. As a courtesy to our clients, we offer these services at cost from the retouching company we use for these enhancements. Image retouching ranges in price from $2.50 to $15 per image depending on the service requested.
Q. How many people can I bring to my mini session?
A. Mini sessions are designed for up to 6 people. Additional people can be added at $40 per person, however adding more people may impact the type of photographs you receive. Ex/ Due to time constraints you may not receive individual images of each child, or multiple types of family combinations, etc.
Q. What is your refund policy if I’m unable to make my session time?
A. Due to the nature of mini sessions, your nonrefundable deposit secures your session date and time. If you are unable to make your session time or need to reschedule, your payment can be credited for use towards a full portrait session in the future. Credits must be used within 6 months of your purchase date.
Q. What happens if there is rain/bad weather in the forecast?
A. In the event that we have to reschedule outdoor sessions due to bad weather, we will give clients the option to book a future Fall 2023 mini session date that we select (either in late October or early November), use their payment as a credit towards a full portrait session, or receive a full refund.
Studio sessions are not affected by weather patterns. In the event of an unforeseen act of God - pandemic, flooding, etc. - we will work on rescheduling studio sessions or refunding clients deposits.
Q. How long will it take to receive my mini session gallery?
A. All galleries are delivered via email 2 to 3 weeks after the mini session date.
Q. How long do I have to download my photographs after I receive my mini session gallery?
A. You will have 4 weeks to download files and make any additional purchases from your online gallery.
Q. Can I print my downloaded files elsewhere?
A. Yes! All images come with personal reprint release, meaning you can order prints via online stores or at your local neighborhood drugstore. You also have the option to order professional prints via your online gallery if you so choose.
Q. Can I use my photographs for Christmas cards or birth announcements, etc.
A. Yes! We love seeing our clients’ photographs pop up in their Christmas cards, birth announcements, graduation announcements etc.
